Alice Crowther

With over 10 years of hands-on experience in hospitality, I bring a deep understanding of the industry from both sides of the counter. After starting out in hospitality, I spent the past five years as the Licensing and Compliance Manager for a local council and served as Secretary of the District Licensing Committee. In this role, I managed technical teams for food and alcohol licensing and supported other councils in establishing their licensing processes.

I'm known for being naturally helpful, I'm passionate about supporting a thriving and productive hospitality industry, understanding its positive flow-on effects for New Zealand’s economy. With strong connections across NZ Police, local councils, and the broader hospitality sector, I'm an expert in all aspects of licensing and compliance, providing practical, trusted guidance - bridging the gap between businesses and regulators.
